Life, love and sometimes loss from a (slightly) more mature perspective...
Is the driver aware of his strange passenger?! :)
I know it's a funny looking thing! Thanks for your comment
Not sure if my comment went through... here it is again.I don't get the mascots...Did you manage to see the torch, i was at work when it passed through my town :(
I know, I'm not sure what they're supposed to be either. I saw the torch when it pased through Colchester - we were right at the spot where they handed over from one torch bearer to the next. It's on my blog here http://www.40schic.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/olympic-torch-comes-to-colchester.html
thats a great photo - was it at the torch relay?
It certainly was. The hand of the mascot waved at the crowd as the coach passed by. The kids loved it. They all had torches they had made at school - they looked lovely.
who ever thought that was a good idea for an olympic emblem/character - whatever it is - wants sacking. It's just too weird. Weird. Great photo though
Thank you. I can't help but wonder who comes up with these mascots and how - and if they ran out of ideas!
Was it a special bus? Looks fun.
It was, it was one of the coaches involved in the torch relay. There was a huge convoy, mainly police cars and bikes, but also floats by Coca-Cola, Lloyds Bank and Samsung, as well as a camera car and coach for the torch bearers after they'd done their bit.
The mascots are freaky!
I know, they do look weird! Thanks for the comment.
Those mascots are growing on me!
I'm not sure they will grow on me, but we'll see. I think my daughter likes them though! Thanks for your comment.
What on earth....?
I know, it's the Olympic mascot. I don't know why it looks like that or why they chose that particular design. Perhaps somebody knows and could tell me? Thanks for your comment, have a great week!
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment...
